Welcome to “杭·ZHOU” (Chinese Bridge Online Winter Camp—A Week’s Cultural Tour in Hangzhou)!

“杭•ZHOU”（“汉语桥”线上团组交流项目），这既可理解为“杭州”这座城市；也可理解为“在杭州的一周”；还可理解为“杭州是汉语言文化的摆渡之舟”，与“汉语桥”相得益彰。

As in Chinese language “ZHOU” means “州 (city)”，“周 (week)” or “舟 (boat)”, the title of our online winter camp, “杭•ZHOU” can be construed as “the city of Hangzhou”, or “a week in Hangzhou”, or “Hangzhou being the boat of Chinese language and culture” which corresponds to the metaphor “Chinese Bridge”.

“杭•ZHOU”（“汉语桥”线上团组交流项目“杭•ZHOU”）主题包括：云游杭州、探访民企、休闲运动、国宝探秘、书画赏鉴、美食品鉴、学唱中文歌曲等课程。

The themes of “Chinese Bridge—杭•ZHOU” Winter Camp (Chinese Bridge Online Winter Camp—A Week’s Cultural Tour in Hangzhou) include: Online Tour in Hangzhou, Visit to Private Enterprises, Fitness Exercises in China, National Treasures, Chinese Calligraphy and Painting, Chinese Food, Chinese Songs, etc.

我们期望向暂时不能来到中国的外国朋友展示当代中国风貌，带领他们体验“进行时”的中国，感受中国向前发展、对外开放的姿态，与此同时体会中国传统文化的活态传承。

We hope to arrange Chinese language teaching for one week based on online tour, so as to display a contemporary China to foreign friends who are unable to take a journey to China. From the program, they will experience a modern, open, developing China as well as its living traditional culture.

集体活动与分层定制相结合

With tailor-made activities for leveled students complementary to group activities

在组织大规模集体活动的同时，兼顾学生的个性需求。例如，在课外活动环节，为零基础水平和华裔学生安排不同的学习小班。

Students’ individual needs are taken into account while arranging large-scale group activities. For example, for extracurricular activities, small classes will be set up for beginners and students of Chinese origin.
